What are the different types of trade entry?

  • Automatic mode: For ARYA Essentials and Trade Manager ARYA will enter a position as soon as the next confirmed fractal is available (which hasn’t already been exceeded by the market). For ARYA Pro you can choose the automatic method for ARYA to enter the market from the dropdown.
  • Market Execution mode: ARYA will enter at the market price at the moment you click BUY or SELL. Sometimes there can be a gap between the price you’re asking and the price ARYA enters into a position, which is called the spread. This is set by your broker and may be due to significant market volatility.
  • Limit Order mode: ARYA will enter the market at the price you set in the LimitPrice field (ARYA Trade Manager) or Entry Value (ARYA Pro). If you want to place a BUY Limit Order, you must choose a price lower than the current market price. If you want to place a SELL Limit Order, you must choose a price higher than the current market price. E.g. If the market is at 25700, you can place a BUY limit order at 25000 or a SELL limit order at 26000.
  • Stop LImit Order mode: The inverse of the Limit Order mode. To SELL, the set price must be below the current market price. To BUY, the set price must be above the current market price.
